Beach Bodies

Are you overweight?  Have you recently lost weight but are struggling to maintain or to just get fit?

Many of us go through these issues every day and that's why WEEKENDSwithWHITNEY wants to help YOU get healthy and fit - and stay that way!

Whitney introduces Michael Moody, her very own personal trainer and instructor from Revival Fitness.  Michael discusses the hot button issue about the growing obesity trend that is troubling our youth.  He shares thoughts and statistics about this very issues.  But, he also announces a very special contest from Revival Fitness that just might be the motivation you're looking for.  Stay tuned for more details!

Reyna Hoerdeman, from Queen B Media, has been trained by Michael Moody for over a year now. Stay tuned to her her inspiring story and she shares her challenges and her success with W3!

We'd like to wager that people who have struggled with weight issues think about weight loss often.  We'd also like to guess that those same people don't realize how important their back is to their overall health.  That's why Dr. Z, from Body Works Health and Wellness in Chicago, comes on the show to educated us all on how one of the first places to start, when losing weight, is with the back.  Sound strange?  Well, Dr. Z argues that carrying the burden of extra pounds adds stress on the entire body and a lot of the relief comes with re-programming your back to its optimum level. Dr. Z will talk about some simple back health tips, how back pain during exercise can be eliminated with the appropriate chiropractic treatment, and how a simple set of custom orthotics can be created right in his office to change the way your body handles body weight and stress.

Do you want to eat your cake and have it too?  Well, you're in luck!  W3! also welcomes Sarah T. Lieb, manager of Starfruit Mobile Truck, to the show.  Sarah shares the benefits of Starfruit's frozen treats.  Starfruit uses Lifeway Kefir in their products which is basically a creamy miracle drink that is added to smoothies, parfaits, and more.  They are nutritious and delicious - what more could you ask for?

Whitney and the entire team at WEEKENDSwithWHITNEY is dedicated to helping you improve both physically and mentally.  So, we urge to take pride in your health and watch this episode to get that push you need to start living a healthier life!
